20 Well Designed Architecture Websites
This piece of my research is to showcase some of the best web designs for architecture websites. I’ve been doing some research hunts recently for well designed architecture websites, and I came across great designs. To keep it short, these designs are well crafted, inspiring and creative.
Below is the list of 20 amazingly designed architecture websites:
1) Diehl Group
The Diehl Group Architects are a boutique consulting firm based in Encinitas, CA. The website is an experiment in storytelling and innovation.
WE ARE THE DIEHL GROUP ARCHITECTS, A FULL-SERVICE DESIGN AND CONSULTING FIRM SPECIALIZING IN FORENSIC ARCHITECTURE, QUALITY ASSURANCE, AND EXPERT WITNESS TESTIMONY.

2) JWI LOVRES
A smooth, sleek design, complemented by simple subtle movements, reflects JWI’s portfolio of industrial designed louvres.
This website in Portuguese which showcases a very smooth auto scroll on mouse hover. The section of the page is divided into two half on the home landing page with great sliders.
A building’s main purpose is to be useful to people. We believe the key to achieving this is urban understanding.
This architecture website is an example of single page website with no scroll bars. This is enriched with a nice architectural photo on the background and smooth menu bar on the top.
Andersson-Wise is an architecture & design studio based in Austin, Texas. Our collaborative approach to residential, institutional, and hospitality architecture results in precise solutions carefully attuned to their purpose.
This architecture website is an elegant portfolio background full width slider design with fading effects.
Founded by Daniel Hopwood in 1993, the studio is a multi-disciplinary practice that includes interior designers as well as architects and landscape architects. The aim is to remain a small, bespoke studio offering clients a creative and practical, but ultimately very personal, design service.
A clean and professional looking website with amazing scroll effects using jQuery.
A website showcasing different bridges in different parts of the world. It is a collage of bridge photos taken from top view. This is a creative website design.
A Spanish architecture website with great dynamics in the design. It has shapes like square, rectangle, and diamond shape.
AUM is a French architecture website which has a silky smooth auto scroller in the middle of the page showcasing their portfolio and the jquery scroller also has a thumbnail along with it. This website also has a cool fast drop down menu at the left of the auto scroller. The best part is, each picture has a tool-tip which moves as you move the mouse.
Studiogo has a some very nice background portfolio images which can be slid by the users. I love the way their logo “go” stays in the middle of the slider always, though you change the images in the background. Great work and effect produced. Request you to explore the color tool at the bottom right of the page – just amazing tool.
12) Tree Arquitetura
Initially, this website just shows a clean layout with an image of a tree at the center to click “Enter”, which later produces a list of projects with click sounds. The click sounds are just awesome. It also shows a mini slider with hover sounds. Overall, this website has a great functionality and features. All this has been produced using flash.
13) Diller Scofidio
Diller Scofidio is an amazing illustrative example of how a building construction can be created using flash.
This website is a nice combination of a note book with ruler in its left. The rulers are multilevel. Good creativity shown in the design. If you go on the project listing, it produces amazing slides of photos all arranged adjacent to each other which pops open on a click. The website also has an option to go full-screen.
A design which is a good mix of image, menu and overlays.
The landing page of this website is something different, which is not seen elsewhere on the web(I guess so). Very nice similar effects on project page aas well. Try out guys.
17) LOHA Architects
This architecture website has been designed from the inspiration of a chemistry periodic table. Very thoughtful design.
This is a very professionally designed website for an architecture company by name NELSON. The best part of this design is the sleek menu attached with the main slider and of-course the top menu drop downs.
Upon landing to this website, the design has a combination of pixel level images with flash at the bottom. The effect generated is good enough to be true.
20) Bernard Mallat
This website is great example of how simplicity can awe you so much. A must to check site for amazing inspiration. A great flash work and a great menu at the bottom. Well designed!!.
